About The Davidge Planning Consultancy

Founded in 1921 The Davidge Planning Consultancy advises a wide-range of property and development companies, investing institutions, housebuilders and landowners.

The main activities are:

> the identification of development opportunities

> the promotion of those opportunities through the complex planning system

> the maximisation of both land values and the subsequent development yields

The consultancy operates nationwide under the Practice principal Mr R F Kilsby Dip TP, FRTPI whose career details in brief can be found by clicking the link to the left.

Areas of Activity

The areas of activity with which we are most commonly involved on behalf of Clients are as follows:

	All aspects of development control procedure

	Site evaluation and identification of development prospects and opportunities

	Planning appeals, Inquiry presentation and all aspects of enforcement

	Local Plan advice and Inquiry representation

	All strategic policy issues with particular involvement in Structure Planning,
	UDP and Regional Planning Guidance procedures

	Advising and assisting Clients in relation to the newly introduced
	Regional Spatial Strategy and Local Development Document procedures, including
	the preparation and submission of representations at the appropriate
	stages of these procedures

The relationship with Wilks Head & Eve, Chartered Surveyors of London W1

Early in 2005 the Davidge Planning Practice merged into Wilks Head and Eve llp, a long-established UK-wide Chartered Surveying practice specialising in Town Planning, Valuation and Rating based in Berners Street, London W1T 3NA.

The Davidge Consultancy retains its separate identity but works closley with Messrs Wilks Head and Eve for the benefit of the Clients of both entities.

As a result the Davidge Planning Practice has access to a dedicated and highly experienced valuation team working across the UK and, in turn, the potential for enhanced planning advice provided by Davidge Consultancy becomes available to the extensive Wilks Head & Eve Client list.

Naturally the two organisations work closely together - contact either and get the best experience of both !
